How do you relax, rejuvenate, and get mental clarity?
My go-to is always Bodies of Water! The bigger the better!
Maybe it’s a Scorpio thing. Even though I live within sight of Lake Superior I just drove 4 hours to spend a couple days near a different part of the big lake….
Today I’m at home sitting out yet another northern Wisconsin blizzard…AND…filling out my registration for the Spirit and Wellness Connection in Duluth, MN on May 19th. Last year was a great event, and I’m thinking this year will be even better! I’m really looking forward to it (and spring-like weather, too!)
More info to follow, but hope to see you there!

What an uplifting day! Met some old friends, made some new friends, and made lots of connections*!
In the spirit of wellness and connections, I’m offering 50% off on my phone consultations for the rest of this month, May 2018. That’s $37.50 for a full hour and $22.50 for half an hour. Just mention you read it here in my BLOG.
More about the event– the “theme of the day” seemed to be past lives. I did a bunch of free “ask one question” readings and consistently, past lives seemed to be featured.
If you’d like to read more about past lives, Brian L. Weiss, M.D. is a good source. I particularly enjoyed his book Only Love Is Real. It’s an easy read, that sort of fell into my hand when perusing my bookshelf for recommendations on further reading.
Sending you all my best!
*That’s what it’s all about, right? Connections!

Robinia pseudoacacia, commonly known in its native territory as black locust, is a medium-sized deciduous tree native to the southeastern United States, but it has been widely planted and naturalized elsewhere in temperate North America, Europe, Southern Africa and Asia and is considered an invasive species in some areas.
I have always felt a connection to this tree, as it grew (proliferated!) on a sunshine-filled hillside on a property I once owned. I went there often to meditate, and enjoy the peace and solitude. Although this tree is considered an invasive species, and has a somewhat uninviting name, I went against basic business marketing principles, and named my business Black Locust Consultations anyway. Why, you ask? Because I asked my Akashic Records and they agreed it was a fine name.
The dark blue-green compound leaves with a contrasting lighter underside give this tree a beautiful appearance in the wind and contribute to its grace.
